Internet Academy
The Internet Academy offers courses taught by Washington State certified teachers for students K - 12. It is accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools (NAAS) The tuition fee for each semester course is $395.
Gelfand Correspondence Program in Mathematics
This program is run by professors at Rutgers University in New Jersey and is geared for students ages 13 - 17. Three of the books students will be working from are: Functions and Graphs, Method of Coordinates and Algebra. There is a $400 enrollment fee. Here is a link to the pre-test.
Christie McAuliffe Academy
While offering courses K - 12, the Christie McAuliffe Academy in Yakima, Washington is geared primarily towards high school students. Courses range from independent study to honors and advanced placement. The Academy is accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools and the Commission on International and Trans-regional Accredition. Tuition ranges from $399 - $500 for one-credit courses.
Laurel Springs School -
Laurel Springs School is a private online academy located in Ojai, California offering multiple courses for students in grades K - 12. Laurel Springs is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the National Independent Study Accreditation Council.Tuition varies, however, for a high school English course the cost is $325 per semester or $625 for the year.
Richard Milburn High School
Richard Milburn High School is located in Woodbridge, Virginia and offers courses in English, history, mathematics, science and selected electives. It is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Distance Education and Training Council. Tuition is $375 per credit.
Indiana University
Located in Bloomington, Indiana, the university offers a variety of high school courses. Indiana University is accredited by the North Central Association and most of the high school courses are approved by the NCAA. Tuition is $60 per half credit, or $120 per full credit.
Oklahoma State University
AOklahoma State University locate din Stillwater, Oklahoma offers multiple AP courses in Calculus, German and Spanish as well as concurrent courses that are eligible for college credit. Tuition for a three credit hour course is $498.
Education Program for Gifted Youth - Stanford University
Standford University is Standford, California offers a number of courses for gifted youth. Tuition is $450-600 per quarter (most courses take 1 to 1.5 quarters to finish).

Center for Distance and Independent Study
Part of the Universtiy of Missouri-Columbia High School in Columbia, Missouri, the Center offers concurrent courses to students who have completed 12 units of high school and are in the top 25% of their class as well as other courses for students in grades 6 - 12. It is accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accredidation and School Improvement. Tuition for elementary and middle school courses is $120 per partial credit and for high school $135 per half credit.
University of Nebraska
NThe University of Nebraska at Lincoln offers an Independent Study High School. The program is accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement and the Nebraska Department of Education. Tuition is $130 per semester course.
Florida Virtual School
The Florida Virtual School in Orlando, Florida offers over 80 courses from ranging from GED to AP. It is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Commission in International and Trans-regional Accreditation. Tuition for .5 credit courses is $375 for non-AP and $400 for AP. Tuition for 1 credit courses is $750 for non-AP and $800 for AP.
North Dakota Division of Independent Study
The North Dakota Division of independent study offers a variety of high school courses from general study to AP. It is accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement and the Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation. Dual credit is available for some courses and a number are approved by the NCAA. Tuition is $92 per semester course.
Utah Electronic High School
Utah Electronic High school is located in Salt Lake City, Utah and offers courses in all high school curricular areas. It is accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools. Tuition is $100 per semester per class.
University of California UC College Prep Initiative
The University of California at Santa Cruz offers multiple college preparation, honors and AP classes. All AP courses met College Board standards and all UCCP courses meet California curriculum standards. Tuition for college preparation and honors courses is $300 per semester and $325 for all AP courses.
Evergreen Internet Academy
Evergreen Internet Academy is a division of the Evergreen Public School System in Vancouver, Washington. The academy offers a full range of online courses for high school students. Tuition is $300 per course per semester.
