Special Education Notice
The State Education Department will be sending out a PARENT SURVEY this fall to some parents of students with special needs in SAD 75. The PARENT SURVEY is part of a comprehensive compliance review of special education services in SAD 75 that the Department of Education conducts every five years. Every school district in the state is reviewed by the department on a regular five year cycle.

The PARENT SURVEY is sent to a sampling of about 20% of the families of students with special needs in SAD 75. If you receive a survey this fall,  please take a few moments to respond. Parent comments are an essential part of the review process and the State Department of Education is  interested in receiving as many responses as possible.
If you have any questions about this survey, please call Patrick Moore, the SAD 75

Food Collection

There will be a box in the  lobby at BCS next week as Cub Scouts from Bowdoin’s
Pack 639 begin the annual food collection for the upcoming holidays.  The group is seeking non-perishable items that will be used to make baskets for local families for Thanksgiving and Christmas.  All baskets will be given to Bowdoin families.   Other non-perishable items are also acceptable even if they aren’t traditional “holiday basket” items.  They will be given to families at other times of the year.  Remember…every can helps.  Thank you in advance for your generosity.
