100's Day
in Mrs. Talbot's Room
The class loved celebrating the 100th day of school. We held a Museum with each child sharing a project that included 100 objects.
The class made a snake using 100 toilet paper rolls. He hangs from the ceiling to be counted by 5's.
The class also made 400 ants and grouped them in various ways, ie 4 groups of 25, 10 groups of 10, 5 groups of 20 and 2 groups of 50!
A highlight of the 100th day was making a snack. The class counted 39 groups of 100 food items like raisins, peanuts,Cheerios, M&M's and sunflower seeds. We shared the treat with our Reading Buddies.

Dylan made a snowman using 100 mini-marshmallows.

Roger made a sea scene with 100 items including goldfish crackers.

Allie strung 100 beads.
Morgan made cupid's arrows with 100 hearts.
Morgan made a heart with 100 pompoms each with a set of googily eyes.

Kelli stamped 100 heart stamps.
Emily wrote a poem about 100 sea animals and illustrated it. She also drew a picture of a jar full of 100 jellybeans.
Brianna made a large swan with 100 feathers and pompoms.
