"Ten, nine, eight" everyone screamed, "Six five four three two one".....KAPWING! A large orange pumpkin soared through the air over the target that was way out in the field.   The crowd of grownups, kids, and a couple of dogs cheered, clapped and yipped as the pumpkin exploded onto the ground.  I cheered too because it was cool.  There was this giant medieval weapon that was once used to knock down castles and the men were using it to fling pumpkins instead of heavy stones.  The Pumpkin Fling is to raise money for the hungry.  People who work at the farm let someone build a trebuchet and set up a giant basketball hoop way out in the field.  The pumpkin fling was totally cool! It was a fantasy fund raiser!
