Red
Paint People
Migration
This
is the red ochre that the red paint people put on the dead people when
they put them in their graves to preserve them. That is how they got the
name RED PAINT people.
The
Red Paint People were one of the first people to arrive in North America.
They were the first people in Maine. They migrated along the mouths of
rivers and along the coast line. They used resources from the environment
to survive. They ate seafood such as oysters and clams. They were dependent
on the seafood and followed the food sources through the seasons.
