The Boat Bike

Back to Chris's Readings

I have an idea for inventing a Boat Bike. I got my idea from Sponge Bob. I was playing a game with my cousin where Sponge Bob had to find wheels to create a machine. I thought that might be a good idea so I thought about it for a while and came up with the Boat Bike!

The Boat Bike lets you get exercise and allows you to go places just like peddling a bike! It has a body of a bike but it doesn’t have wheels. The Boat Bike has spoon-like paddles and floats made of plastic filled with air.

I’m going to try to make an attachment to the Boat Bike so it won’t tip a lot. It will be difficult to make .

It will be like a dock with slits for the wheels. I’ll put extra weights on the sides so it won’t tip at all.

If you want to, you could take the wheels off of a regular bike and set them aside. Then you could put the wheels of a boat bike on the regular bike and there you have it: A Boat Bike! This way it will be less expensive.

The Boat Bike is special because it can go on water without sinking. It will be good transportation for kids as well. Just throw your backpack on and you’re off!
