Do you remember when you got your first dog? I do. My dog’s name is Cindy. Cindy is a yellow lab. She looks a lot like her mother. Cindy loves to chew on things such as ponytail holders, rawhide bones, balls, rocks, and ice. Cindy likes to give wet and slobbery kisses. Sometimes when Cindy wakes up she is so cute. She yawns and stretches and it looks like she is bowing.

It has been five months since my family and I brought Cindy home. Since we brought her home, she has learned several commands such as sit, stay, come, shake, speak and lay down. Sometimes Cindy doesn’t come because she is distracted by the cat.

Cindy likes to take rides in the car. Cindy takes rides in the car with us to school, to the bike path, to my aunt’s house, and to my gramma's house. Cindy rides in the far back of the car and tries to get in the middle with me by putting her paws over the seat. I have to keep pushing her back. Cindy barks at everybody who is on the sidewalk. Cindy has a lot of fun on rides.

Cindy is a great dog to have around and I love her sooo much. I’m proud of Cindy for learning her commands so well and I’m proud of Cindy when we ride in the car together, but I’m especially proud of Cindy when she covers me in wet and slobbery kisses.
