The Sun is a Light Bulb

The sun is a light bulb

Shining in the dark

That lights up people's hearts

And warms up the world

To keep away the dark

Cocoa

Cocoa, My New Hamster

My new hamster, Cocoa, is a girl or a boy, but my mom and I are not sure. I hope Cocoa’s a boy because a girl hamster can get very feisty. He or she is soft, cuddly, and small. If you hold it, I know for sure it will not bite you because it is calm, brave, and very nice.

Cocoa loves to run in his or her new small ball that my mom got me. It is yellow. Cocoa goes very fast. Sometimes I let Cocoa run in the living room with the dogs in his or her new ball. One of my dogs gets a little curious because he does not know what it is. He thinks it is just a ball but he does not know why my hamster is in there. My other dogs stay away from the ball because they are scared of it.

I love Cocoa very much. Every school day I can not wait until I get home so I can hold Cocoa. And when I’m doing my homework Cocoa, runs all over it and climbs up my arm and he or she bugs me a lot until I am done.
