Full Split

I was heading to the bus one early winter day. My mother was with me. It was icy and there was a fresh layer of snow. I was following my brother's tracks in the snow when I fell on the ice and made a full split, which hurt! My feet spread apart! The left foot went left and the right foot went right! My arms went left and right too!
As I fell, I twisted left and my backpack became an anchor! I was in a full split, twisted sideways with an anchor on my back. I tried to get up, but I just felll back down again.
My mom grabbed my hand and helped me up. She brushed the snow off of me and then we walked on to the bus.

a cool orange pair of snowshoes

I’ve only used them once
on Christmas Day

I haven’t got a chance
to use my snowboard either

Maybe it will snow more
next year!
