Goal: Administer the Early Numeracy Screening to all students in grades K-2 in order to identify students who are struggling in number knowledge and computation.
This tool will serve as:
- one measure for determining if a student is in need of an invention program.
- a formative assessment in helping to plan instruction for struggling math learners.

If a student is meeting the grade level expectations, the teacher only needs to record an M on the first data point.
Because this is a screen, there is no exceeds for this assessment. If the student is not meeting the grade level expectation, the individual scores for each level/stage will need to be entered.
3. Screening Hard Copy is placed in the yellow math folder.
