Philosophy

We believe education is a cooperative venture and the responsibility of the whole community. We feel it is important for parents and community members to become "partners in education."

Goals:

To provide individual and/or small group assistance to students.

To assist staff in some non-instructional duties and tasks.

To strengthen school and community relations--building a positive partnership.

To enrich the student's curriculum by broadening their awareness and experiences.

To provide a rewarding experience for all volunteers.

 

We need volunteers help in the following areas:

• in the classroom
• in the Library
• on Field Trips
• with Musical and play
• with the Gifted and Talented Program
• with Fund Raising
  • Holiday Craft Fair (in November)
  • Wreath Sale (in November)
  • Spaghetti Dinner (in November)
  • Academic Triathlon (in January)
  • Sock Hop (in February)
  • Spring Candy Sale (in March)
