File BFC: Policy Adoption

The Board may review policies on a regular basis. Should no changes be made, the review date will be noted at the next regularly-scheduled Board meeting and noted at the bottom of the policy. No additional action needs to be taken by the Board.

Changes and additions in Board policy shall appear on the agenda for two consecutive regularly-scheduled Board meetings with a final vote being taken at the second meeting. The Board may vote to declare an emergency situation and vote to adopt or change a policy on an emergency basis without waiting for the second meeting.
