Employee Exposure

All exposed employees need to report to a District School Nurse and complete an Employee Incident Report.  The employee will be directed to a confidential medical evaluation and follow up which includes:
  • Obtaining consents for necessary testing
  • Necessary immunizations
  • Blood testing

Post-exposure evaluation and follow-up is done by Occupational Health Associates.

Please report all exposures to your Supervisor and a School Nurse so that an exposure report can be generated. You will be directed to Occupational Health Associates for evaluation and follow up. Office hours are M-F 8:00 - 4:30. Phone number: 442-8625. If the exposure occurs on a weekend or after hours while working for MSAD 75, please proceed to the emergency room for assistance and notify your Supervisor and a School Nurse on Monday morning as soon as possible.

Occupational Health Associates will determine if a significant exposure has occurred as well as counsel the individual about the exposure recommendations for follow-up and blood testing. MSAD No. 75 will receive a Medical Evaluation Report with recommendations for follow-up and treatment, but test results are highly confidential and will not be given out or included in an exposure report.
