File BBBD: Board Member Removal from Office
Any officer or committee member elected by the Board of Directors pursuant to these policies may be removed from office or committee by a two-thirds (2/3) majority vote of the full Board at a regular meeting. The proposed removal of an officer or committee member must appear on the agenda for the Board meeting at which the removal vote is to be taken. In the event of removal of the Board Chair or Vice-Chair, the vacancy shall be filled following the procedure described in Policy BBBE-Unexpired Term Fulfillment. In the event of removal of a committee member, the Board shall proceed with the election of a successor, who shall complete the term of the committee member who has been removed.
