File BBBE: Unexpired Term Fulfillment
If a Chairperson is unable to complete his/her term as Chairperson and one hundred (100) or more days of that term remain, the Board of Directors will elect a new Chairperson. The election of the new Chairperson must appear on the agenda for the Board meeting at which the election will take place. When holding such an election, Board members will give special consideration to the town which the last elected Chairperson represented.
If a Chairperson is unable to complete his/her term of Chairman and fewer than one hundred (100) days of that term remain, the Vice-Chairperson will serve as Acting Chairperson for the balance of the unexpired term.
The same procedure shall be followed if the Vice-Chairperson is unable to complete his/her term.
